Our Story

It all started with love — and hayfever.

My wife suffered from an extreme case of hayfever, and as two people who have always adored honey, I was determined to find a real solution. We were tired of the poor-quality, over-processed honey lining supermarket shelves. We knew there had to be something better — something pure, local, and alive with the goodness nature intended.

Our kids loved honey too, so I made a decision: I would get a beehive and produce the real thing myself.

One hive quickly became two. Then two became four. Before long, I had 12 beehives in my front garden in Wilmslow, and my neighbours were discovering just how extraordinary truly raw, local honey could be.

Word spread. People began to notice the difference — the rich flavour, the thick golden texture, the unmistakable quality of honey made by bees foraging on Wilmslow's own flowers. And something remarkable happened: my wife's hayfever slowly began to recede. The local pollens in our honey were doing exactly what we had hoped.

What started as a personal mission quietly grew into something bigger. A business idea took shape, rooted in passion, quality, and a genuine belief in the power of nature.

Today, Beemania is home to over 120 hives across Wilmslow. Every jar of honey, every candle, and every tincture we produce is made with the same care and commitment that went into that very first hive — 100% pure, traditionally extracted, and made by British bees in the heart of Cheshire.
